After several years of working with smaller businesses, we found that business owners had settled for services that they could only afford and not necessarily on what they needed to be successful. They chose the cookie cutter hosting plan because that is what was offered to them. Big Mountain decided that we could offer a higher level of service that small businesses could afford, while providing them professional services such as managed hosting, shared contacts and calendars, remote access for our mobile users and free phone support. Also, to better match our customers’ particular needs, we decided to offer a-la-cart services, meaning that if you don’t have a website to host, but want email, then you can choose that option and not have to pay for services you won’t use. The result? Enterprise class services that are made affordable, easy to manage and always with the small business in mind.
